Profile Issa is a 29 year old girl from Oslo. At 17, she began to work its way into the music business as a demo singer for various labels in studios all over Norway at 19 she won a race with almost 150 000 voices singing the song “Fade Away” written by Stian Aarstad who had been a member of Dimmu Borgir. The song was released on a disc in collaboration with the TV channel Fox Kids Frontiers Records is pleased to present the world the talents of Norwegian singer Issa (Isabell Over Sveen) with the release of her debut album “Sign of Angels’.
With the help of producer Ronny Milianowicz (Saint Deamon) and a few musicians killer Peter Huss on guitar Uli Kusch (ex-Helloween, Masterplan) on drums Nobby Noberg on bass and Tim Larson (Nick Lachey) on keyboards Issa has succeeded in creating an amazing album that offers soaring and instantly appealing lines hook solid guitar riffs and a clear sound Described as Brother Firetribe meets treat with lots of melodies class and attitude of “Sign of Angels” features songwriting contributions from Joacim Cans (Hammerfall) Thomas Vikström (Candlemass) Daniel Flores (tmom) Soren Kronqvist (Crash System) and many more.
2011 found Issa with her new album titled “The Storm”, created her own style and approach to Melodic Rock by mixing her peculiar and unique melodic sensibility with a rocking attitude which is unseen in today’s Pop singers. November 6th is the third Issa’s record called “Can’t Stop” and released by Frontiers Records.
